SeaDataCloud awarded "Les Etoiles de l'Europe" trophy!
The SeaDataCloud project was awarded the "Les Etoiles de l'Europe" trophy, mention Open Science. The award ceremony took place at the Quai Branly Museum, on December 2, 2021, during the Horizon-Europe forum.
This trophy is awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI). It aims to reward and promote the European commitment of teams of technicians and researchers who have distinguished themselves through the success of their projects, to highlight their work, and to encourage - by their example - their colleagues to respond in ever greater numbers to the calls for proposals of the European framework programme.
Michèle Fichaut and Dick Schaap, coordinators of SeaDataCloud, received this trophy in the name of all the SeaDataCloud Consortium, in Paris, at the Quai Branly museum, on December 2nd, 2021. They thanked all the consortium and more particularly the Work Package leaders (represented by Simona Simoncelli from INGV), and the project office members (represented by Christine Coatanoan, Stéfane Gouzien, Vanessa Tosello, Marine Vernet). Catherine Maillard, who initiated the first SeaDataNet project, was also invited!
